Tailed Jay Crescent
This piece features a Graphium agamemnon, also known as the Tailed Jay, a bright and energetic species found in Southeast Asia. The butterfly is set on a cream velvet background inside an upcycled frame that once held a clock. The frame is crafted from a lightweight composite, making it easy to hang while still giving that classic antique style. A crescent of dried botanicals adds a soft, holiday-inspired touch to the design.
It includes a keyhole back for easy hanging.
Fun fact: Tailed Jays are fast fliers and love darting through warm forests in search of flowers—making them one of the more lively butterflies to spot in the wild.
A simple, seasonal piece with a little bit of nature and a little bit of upcycled charm.
Please note: This piece features an upcycled, thrifted frame. Minor imperfections on the frame or glass may be present due to age and character. All pieces are carefully cleaned and repaired while preserving their vintage character.
